Here at Top Health Medical Centre, we are strong believers that shared health decision-making helps nurture the GP-patient relationship, and also aids in improving the quality and safety of the care we provide.

Our Practice Team, which includes GPs, nurses, a dietitian, physiotherapists, and our reception staff, work together to ensure that you receive the health advice you need.

Dr. Jackson Chen

MBBS (USYD), FRACGP

Jackson has been a GP in Ryde area since 2006.

He has been a supervisor for General Practitioner registrars since 2015 and likes the joys and challenges of teaching and learning with the registrars.

He enjoys playing tennis but admits that he is not the best at it. His other interests include listening to music, online gaming and watching TV with his family.

Mr. Charles Weng

Physiotherapist

B. AppSc (Physiotherapy) (USYD), Masters of Sports Physiotherapy

Available: Fridays 9:00am–12:30pm

He worked with experienced physiotherapists, including Olympic physiotherapist in Sydney for seven years, and during this time he also provided physiotherapy support for Macquarie University Australian Rules Football teams and Hunters Hill Rugby Union teams. He made the transition to the UK in 2008, where he worked a year in a renowned private practice in the Square Mile in London.

Charles’ special interest areas are in Sports injuries, Lower limb biomechanics, Spinal pain/headaches, and Orthopaedic rehabilitation. He utilises a “hands-on” manual approach, combined with functional rehabilitation to provide short and long-term relief of symptoms.

In his spare time, Charles enjoys basketball, tennis, baseball and most of all spending time with his wife.


Mr. Andrew Chang

Physiotherapist

B. Physio (University of Canberra)

Available: Tuesdays 9:00am–12:30pm

During his time he has gained experience covering a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from all walks of life including back and neck pain, acute sporting injuries, post operative rehabilitation and chronic pain.

He has further developed an interest in sporting injuries including concussions, shoulder, knee and ankle injuries. During his degree, he has completed a Sport trainer certificate I and a Certificate III in fitness where he developed a strong focus on both manual therapy and a wide range of exercise prescription to provide high quality patient centred care and to prevent re-injury.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, swimming and tennis.

Ms. Angela Hsiao

Dietitian

APD, CDE Dietitian, Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Sydney University
Credentialed Diabetes Educator – University Technology Sydney (UTS)

Angela has been a practising Dietitian for more than 15 years and has been a diabetes educator since 2008.

Angela specialises in Diabetes and is a credentialed Diabetes Educator UTS. As a Diabetes Educator, she assists people who have Type 1, Type 2 and gestational Diabetes or who are at risk of diabetes. She provides them and their families and carers the information, knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence they need to manage their condition, including lifestyle changes, monitoring blood sugar levels (BSL), glycaemic targets, hypoglycaemia management and insulin injection techniques which are crucial skills for diabetes self management.

Angela is also experienced in giving specialised dietary and nutritional advice to patients with acute and chronic problems. These include patients with liver problems (e.g. fatty liver, hepatitis), kidney impairment, eating disorders, gout, coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, food allergies, lactose intolerance and weight management.
